OTW - Tcherbevan WIP

On The Workbench - Tcherbevan.

While I am waiting for a delivery of Humbrol spray paint to finish off the rivers for the CWC game later this month I took the opportunity to make a start on some more buildings for the city of Tcherbevan, the capital of Andreivia. I have planned a load of new buildings and after the September game I will crack on with the rest.

First up an old tower with a nod towards the towers found in Svaneti. Now being used as a warehouse.

First river sections complete, a few more WIP. Will take some more photos when the rest are complete along with about six more bridge sections.

Set up a few better shots of the minefields for the game in September also added another 5 pieces that were WIP which have fields on for a bit of variety.

I now have 3 metres of minefields complete and ready for the game. After the photos I have started boxing things up ready. Next up are the rivers and bridges of which there are quite a few in this game. Steve Graham and myself have split the work on the rivers but are using the same spray paint etc to ensure the river section match. I have 8 sections WIP and hope to finish them in the next couple of days.

The Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red

Had a few hours in London yesterday as my daughter had a modelling shoot in Great Portland Street and while she was in hair and makeup I decided I would hop on the tube so after a quick trip from Oxford Circus to Monument and then on to Tower Hill I arrived at the Tower of London to see the amazing sea of 888,246 red ceramic poppies. One flower for each soldier from Britain or the British colonies who died in WWI. They are not all in yet as each one is planted by hand and I think the plan is to have them all installed by November 11th. It brought a lump to my throat thinking that everyone of these was a life.
For The Fallen

Minefields and Marsh

Just a few photos of some of the things I have been preparing for the game in September. First up a few section of the 3m of minefields that are in production (2m complete and 1m WIP). 20mm Andreivia WIP in background (2 more Type 61 tanks and some Andreivian Airborne (Britannia Vietnam range). More on those in a later post.

Next up some Marsh sections.

I will try and take some better shots of these as soon as possible.
