A Bridge Two Far
With one week to go before the big CWC game at Deeside I have been busy finishing off bits of terrain ready for set up on Friday afternoon. Another 8 ft of river is nearly finished and I have made a load more roads. This morning I have just put together these two bridges. WIP at the moment just need a coat of paint and a drybrush and they will be ready. I will take a photo with a river section once they are finished.

Very nice. Where did the girder sections come from?
ReplyDeleteThanks the girder sections are from GHQ's Terrain Maker range.

Lovely! What do you use for the tarmac effect on the roadway. I'm going to make some road sections when I've finished the hedges. Cheers, Andy
ReplyDeleteHi Andy,
ReplyDeleteThe tarmac is made by Busch Ref. N7087 Asphalt Highway (2 Mtr). I found them in the most amazing model railway shop in Barcelona. It is great as you can peel the packing off and it stretches so you can create gentle curves. They are self adhesive so I stick them to cheap vinyl floor tiles . I will post some pictures of the road sections. Really effective I think and really easy to make. Cheers Richard
A few available on a well known auction site. Cheers
ReplyDeleteCheers Richard, I'll look out or it. See you soon, Andy
ReplyDeleteThose look fantastic, great work as usual.
